A Sad, Sad Thing

A sad, sad thing happened over the weekend. It has something to do with missed commo and stuff. Now it turns out I'm an ungrateful, bitter, sour-graping bitch. Arrgh. I hate just hate to be called like that. I have my own explanations but it's just to tiresome to go over it again. Might just as well forget the whole episode. I hope there's somebody singing this to me (this one is Patti LaBelle):

Hung Up

That's it. Ayoko ko na sa inyo. I'm tired of waiting just to get a glimpse of you everyday, or wandering when will I ever get to see you again. I'm hanging up on you...(as if those guys actually cares..haha).

Here's Madonna to sing that to you:

It's No. 1 vs. No. 2 Again at the French Open

Roger4 Nadal
It's shaping up to be pretty yearly  routine at the French. Federer vs. Nadal. The presumptive Greatest Player of All Time vs. the presumptive Greatest Clay Court Player of All Time. It's great for tennis  though, this rivalry ( I feel asleep watching the NBA). There's nothing like two men battling it out like gladiators on Center Court with only the two of them on the arena. Go watch it tomorrow, Sunday at night. It's on Balls Channel this year.

Sunday Double Whammy!

Ay, I realized haven't posted anything in a while. It's a Sunday and a holiday tomorrow, so what's to do but take it easy, easy like Sunday morning. Thanks to everyone who greeted me a happy birthday. Yes, I did have a happy birthday (like, going to work). I hope major changes will happen this year, career, money-wise and lovelife.

Yes lovelife. I haven't fell for anyone so intensely having sleepness nights are mandatory and doing the laundry and scrubbing bathroom floors becomes so palatable after a heartbreak. That kind of love. I missed that.
============================

Know it sounds funny
But I just can't stand the pain
Boy I'm leaving you tomorrow
Seems to me boy
You know I've done all I can
You see I begged, stole
And I borrowed
Ooh, that's why I'm easy
I'm easy like Sunday morning
That's why I'm easy
I'm easy like Sunday morning
Why in the world
Would anybody put charms on me?
I've paid my dues to make it
Everybody wants me to be
What they want me to be
I'm not happy when I try to fake it!
No!
Ooh,that's why I'm easy
I'm easy like Sunday morning
That's why I'm easy
I'm easy like Sunday morning
I wanna be high, so high
I wanna be free to know
The things I do are right
I wanna be free
Just me, babe!
That's why I'm easy
I'm easy like Sunday morning
That's why I'm easy
I'm easy like Sunday morning
Because I'm easy
Easy like Sunday morning
Because I'm easy
Easy like Sunday morning

Get Happy - Judy Garland

Enough of the drama. Get happy. Snap out of it, now! I may have to swack tennis balls later to get over this.
=========================

Forget your troubles c'mon get happy,
you better chase all your cares away.
Shout hallejulah c'mon get happy
get ready for the judgement day.

the sun is shinin c'mon get happy,
the lord is waitin to take your hand.
shout hallejulah c'mon get happy,
we're going to the promise land

We're headin across the river to
wash your sins away in the tide.
it's all so peaceful on the other side.

Forget your troubles c'mon get happy,
you better chase all your cares away.
shout hallejulah c'mon get happy,
get ready for the judgement day.

Forget your troubles c'mon get happy
chase ya cares away.
hallelu get happy,
before the judgement day.

The sun is shinin c'mon get happy,
the lord is waitin to take your hand.
shout hallejulah c'mon get happy,
we're gunna be goin to the promise land.

were headin cross the river,
wash you're sins away in the tide.
it's quiet and peaceful on the other side.

forget your troubles get happy,
your cares fly away.
shout hallejulah get happy get ready for your judgement day.

c'mon get happy,
chase your cares away.
shout hallejulah cmon get happy,
get ready for the judgment day

The sun is shining c'mon get happy,
lord is waiting to take your hand.
hallejulah c'mon get happy,
we're going to the promise land.

headin 'cross the river,
throw your sins away in the tide.
it's all so peaceful on the other side-

shout hallelujah c'mon get happy,
ya better chase all your cares away.
shout hallejulah c'mon get happy,
get ready-get ready-get ready,
for the judgment day.

Love is A Losing Game

Where were you last weekend eh? You should have watched the Grammys. Thank God for that annual musical toast - I've discovered Amy Winehouse. She really deserved it all. As what I've said before its the words/lyrics folks - the sound is secondary -

Amy Winehouse Love Is a Losing Game Lyrics

For you I was a flame,
Love is a losing game
Five story fire as you came,
Love is losing game

One I wish I never played,
Oh, what a mess we made
And now the final frame,
Love is a losing game

Played out by the band,
Love is a losing hand
More than I could stand,
Love is a losing hand

Self professed profound
Til' the chips were down
Know you’re a gambling man
Love is a losing hand

Tho' I battled blind,
Love is a fate resigned
Memories mar my mind,
Love it is a fate resigned

Over futile odds,
And laughed at by the Gods
And now the final frame,
Love is a losing game

Hail, Hail Queen Maria

Maria

Queen Maria is back, taking her third Grand Slam title (and many more to come) at the '08 Aussie Open, by beating also-pretty Servian, Ana Ivanovic 7-5, 6-3.

So who's saying beauty and power don't mix, huh? I betcha she'll win all the big ones this year, considering she has reached at the semifinals in all of those.

2008 Australian Open Seeds Report

1_238914617l

Of course, no doubt Federer will win all the Slams this year, surpassing Sampras' record. And even the Olympic gold. There's something going on with the men ranked behind No. 2 Nadal- they simply clams up on the big matches against the Fed. Specially at the Slams. So there.

On the Women's side, realistically this is not going to be Sharapova's year to win the Aussie Open. The Williamses are in-form and Justine Henin is on top of her game, if not the tennis echelon. And there's the Serbian dou - Jankovic and Ivanovic (There's a lot's of -ovic and -ova in the women's side). So goodluck to Maria and I hope she makes it to the second week (I'm hoping the finals).

P.S. I'm sorry I can't write long post as I am under medication - it's for cough, silly. (What were you hinking? STD?)

Thank God my parents thought of this name and not Xavirerxxs Chuviccanne Eustacious or else  I would really have problems filing up forms.  Here 's my famous namesake, Noel Thomas David Gallagher of British band Oasis:
